Daddy Love

Dalton LOVES Cameron. They play and laugh and play and laugh. I took these the other day and it just comes down to the fact that life doesn't get much better than this!


Since it's been a while I should give everyone a little update. Cameron is back in school again and is trying to adjust to his new schedule. I am at home with Dalton and I babysit a 2 1/2 year old little boy who is very energetic. He sure gives me a run for my money some days. Dalton is as happy as ever. He has been sitting up on his own for a little over a month now. We like to surround him with pillows or a boppy cause he topples over now and again. He scoots a little bit on his back and on his tummy, but isn't quite crawling yet. He can also turn around all the way to get to toys and such. The latest is scooting away from me when I try to change his diaper. Luckily there haven't been any messes from that yet. He's a funny little squirt.

Bubble Mania

As you can see Dalton becomes quite the disturbed little boy when placed in a bath full of bubbles

Our big eater

The doctor told us that we should start feeding Dalton some soft solids because he was nursing every hour and a half. So far he loves to eat, but he still nurses every 2 hours. He's just a hungry boy I guess. Now he's 16 pounds and 26.25 inches long.

The tongue

Cameron had Dalton sitting behind him and happened to stick out his tongue. Little did he know that Dalton would love his new toy. He sat fascinated with it for ten minutes. The baby loves the daddy that's for sure.

He loves his toes!

Dalton found his toes a few weeks ago. His newest development is putting them into his mouth.




He's pretty funny, yesterday he actually fell asleep holding his foot.
Who needs a stuffed animal when they have their foot?

Fun in the Sun

After visiting Michelle, Brandon and the girls in San Diego, we headed to Tucson to visit Jeremy and Jenni. Dalton went swimming for the first time and let's just say that the water was a little too cold for his liking and it didn't help that it was nap time.

Everybody loves the cuddle bag

A couple weeks ago we got this huge cuddle bag. It's a rip off of the love sac, but is just as comfy. Dalton loves to sit and sleep on it, Callie likes us to throw her on it, Laurene likes to pose on it and I like trying to kick Cameron's butt wrestling on it! He's a little bit stronger than me (go figure) so I get tossed around like a ragdoll and we all end up laughing hysterically, Dalton included. You have to love quality family fun!

Bathtime fun

Dalton just LOVES the bath! When he first gets in he's always a little skeptical but the smiles are sure to come.

Graduation

As of yesterday I am officially a college graduate! Without the support of my family, especially Cameron, I couldn't have done it. He's been so supportive and helpful this past year with being pregnant and then having a newborn while taking classes. But we made it through with lots of laughs and are one happy family! Now we need to get Cameron's schooling done. Just another 5 years... no big deal.





Oh and we have a big smiler now!

Girls Night!!!

During the Priesthood session of conference this past weekend we got some of the girls together to have a girls night. Of course Dalton stayed with us despite Callie's pleading for him to go to Priesthood with his daddy because he is a guy. She forgot all about him once she got out her fingernail polish and princess drawing book except when she noticed that his finger nails weren't painted. Don't worry, they are still paint free. Cameron would have never been okay with his little boy having pink nails! Here are some pictures of Dalton from that night. Adriana got a new camera and was going to town.



Then the next day Katrina, Lara, and Brittany came to visit us after conference. I think it was mostly to see Dalton, but we had a good time anyway. It had been a while since I had seen them.

The Hair

From first looks we knew this kid had a lot of hair, but we had no idea how crazy it would be. Cameron's favorite activity lately has been to lick it until it stands up. Here are some of the pictures we've gotten out of it.
